Girls born in 2011 or 2012 are invited out tonight for a free skate with the newly formed CK Crush Girls Hockey Association.

It’s not a tryout, but an opportunity to provide information and determine interest.

Come out to Thames Campus between 5-6. Full equipment is required.

The 3rd Annual First Responders Easter Eggstravaganza is back!

Come by Kingston Park from 10-2 on Easter Monday for Easter treats, tours of emergency vehicle tours, face painting, CK Play Rangers, bike draws and more! All free!!

Hosted by the OPP, C-K Police, C-K EMS, C-K Fire and Ontario Parks.


Garbage and recycling pick will be affected by Good Friday.

Normal curbside pick up will be pushed to Saturday this week.

There are no collection changes for next week.

James Holzhauer dominated yet again on Jeopardy! last night.

He broke his own single-day record by winning $131,127. The second highest single-day total in history is now $110,914, which he won last Tuesday.

He’s won ten games in a row, for a total of $697,787.


A group of people in London protested the British government’s response to climate change yesterday, by super-gluing themselves to the outside of a train.

It delayed service for a while, so people were annoyed, but one of the protesters said they had to get people’s attention. Others stood by and laughed.
