Recipe Review: Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Popper Chicken
This time around: Delish’s recipe for Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Popper Chicken.
They looked pretty great (and huge) once prepped:
The bacon did not stay wrapped around the chicken very well at all.. 2 of the 4 looked okay when finished..
It made a HUGE mess of my cast iron though.. (and wasn’t really worth it)..
Even with 20-25 minutes of cooking, they still weren’t cooked, so I threw them in the oven for another 10-15 minutes to finish cooking and crisp up the bacon a bit better.
They tasted pretty great, but again, the presentation wasn’t the best and it just made a huge mess.
I’ve made something similar, without the bacon wrap.. a recipe from Tasty and I would highly suggest it instead! Find that recipe HERE.
