One new movie opens at Chatham Galaxy Cinemas this weekend.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (14A)
Quentin Tarantino’s ninth movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a fading Western star who’s struggling with how fast Hollywood is changing in 1969. Brad Pitt is his best friend and stunt double, who somehow gets himself mixed up in the Manson murders.
Dakota Fanning and Andie MacDowell’s daughter Margaret Qualley play members of the Manson Family and Margot Robbie is their future victim, actress Sharon Tate.
This was also Luke Perry’s final movie before he died from a stroke in March. He plays the “white hat” star of another Western TV series that Leo works with after Leo’s career bottoms out and he’s cast as a bad guy on Luke’s show.
The rest of the cast includes Al Pacino, Kurt Russell and Lena Dunham.
