Tracy Morgan cries in first interview since crash
In emotional Tracy Morgan sat down for his first interview since the June 2014 crash that took the life of fellow comedian James McNair. Morgan expressed that he was in awe that he was able to speak with Matt Lauer and be on the “Today” show after the extensive injuries and the recovery process he has been through.
Morgan repeatedly thanked the medical staff who helped him through his recovery. He also thanked his family, staff and friends like fellow “30 Rock” star Tina Fey who called to check in on him.
“I’ve been down — they keep my spirits up,” he said.
