Go for a dip at the Blenheim Gable Rees Rotary Pool, Jaycee Pool and the Walter Hawkins Pool between 1:30-4.


Five Things - 3Fridays during the summer usually means Movies in the Park with CKRec and CKSY, but not this week.

Originally scheduled for Dresden, it was moved up to make way for Kinstock.

Movies in the Park return next week in Thamesville where you can catch Storks.

Five Things - 4A woman recently caused $200,000 worth of damage to an art exhibit at a museum in Los Angeles.

The woman was taking a selfie when she accidentally knocked over a row of sculpture pedestals. The 10 pedestals topped over like dominoes. Three sculptures were permanently damaged.


Five Things - 5A truck full of eels overturned yesterday on an Oregon road, dousing vehicles with slithering sea creatures. The eels — and lots of gooey stuff — were all over the road.

The Oregon State Police said the eels were being sent to Korea “for consumption.”
