Traffic heads up this morning.
The construction on Richmond Street will begin this morning, and last until November.
The work is being done on Richmond between Keil and Bloomfield. Curbs are being added, bike lanes improved, a continuous two way left turn lane is being added among other improvements. No impact to CK Transit at this point.

The rare display was expected to glimmer over much of Canada last night.
Also known as Aurora Borealis, would be the result of a huge explosion of plasma and magnetic field from the sun’s corona colliding with the earth’s magnetic field.

NASA revealed new photos of Jupiter late last week.
One of the features is Jupiter’s Red Spot; a storm with a diameter larger than Earth’s. Scientists don’t fully understand what created the storm, or how it’s been swirling around for so long. And while they haven’t figured that part out yet, NASA’s Juno spacecraft has brought them closer than they’ve ever been before.

A mall in China has introduced “husband storage” facilities for wives to leave their spouse while they shop.
The mall has erected a number of glass pods for wives to leave any disgruntled husbands that don’t want to be dragged around. Inside each individual pod is a chair, monitor, computer and gamepad, and men can sit and play retro 1990s games.
