The Detroit/Windsor bid to host a second headquarters for Amazon has failed to make the cut to the second round.

Amazon is planning to invest $50 billion to set up a new HQ that would create 50,000 for the region. Windsor-Detroit was the only bi-national bid.

238 cities across North American submitted bids, with 20 moving on to the 2nd round – Toronto is the only Canadian city.

The winning bid is expected to be announced by the end of the year.

The North American Internation Auto Show in Detroit opens to the public tommorrow at Cobo Center.

It’ll run Saturday until Sunday January 28th from 9-9.

Skittles is doing something unusual.

Their 60-second ad during the Super Bowl won’t air to all viewers during the game. Instead, a teenager from California will be the only one to see it first and viewers can watch his reaction to it through a livestream on Skittles’ Facebook page.
