It’s March Break!

Chatham Galaxy Cinemas have matinee showings all week.

The Chatham Maroons beat the Lasalle Vipers in game 7 and advance to the second round.

They’ll play the top seeded London Nationals, most likely beginning Wednesday in London. Schedule to be released today.

Local hockey legend Ken Houston has passed away. He was 64.

Ken played for the Dresden Jr. Kings and Chatham Maroons before turning pro and playing with the Atlanta/Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals and Los Angeles Kings.

An 8.5-ton space station that China lost all control of in 2016 is expected to crash back into Earth in March or early 2018.

And it could land somewhere in Michigan around April 3rd.

According to scientists, there are a bunch of other places in the world it could fall too (northern China, central Italy, northern Spain, the Middle East, New Zealand, Tasmania, South America, southern Africa) They should have a better idea of the location in the next few weeks.

A majority of the spacecraft is expected to burn up upon reentry into Earth’s atmosphere, but some chunks weighing as much as 220 pounds could hit the surface. Several space crafts or space stations have come crashing through the atmosphere to Earth without killing or injuring anyone in the past.
