Vladimir Putin was re-elected President of Russia yesterday. He won 74% of the vote and will now serve until 2024. It’s his 4th term as President.

His election win will take his rule to 2024, when he will be 71 and obliged by law to step down, although many believe he’s trying to find a way to stay in office.

The vote was a huge logistical undertaking, taking place across Russia’s 11 time zones over 22 hours, in around 97,000 polling stations.

The U.S. Mint released its first ever pink coin last Thursday to help benefit breast cancer research. And it looks like the plan is working.

They were expecting it to raise $8 million, with zero cost to taxpayers, and it ended up pulling in $4 million on its first day.

There are three different versions of the coins; a pink $5 coin, a silver one-dollar coin, and a silver 50-cent piece. But they’re collector’s items, so they’re selling for a lot more than face value.

The pink $5 coin costs over 400 bucks. The $1 coin is about $50. And the half dollar is about $30.

Some wild upsets in the NCAA tournament.

On Friday, for the first time ever a number 16 seed beat a number one, when the University of Maryland-Baltimore County beat the University of Virginia.

16 seeds were a combined 0-and-135 up til then.

And that’s bad news for Little Caesars. Before the game, they tweeted that if a 16 seed beats a one seed, they’d give everyone in the country a free lunch combo, that’s a personal deep dish pizza and a bottle of soda. Seemed like a pretty safe bet they’d never have to pay on.

Now they have to. So now, on April 2nd, at participating American Little Caesars they’re giving away free lunch.
