Today is Tim Horton’s Camp Day. Buy a coffee, change a life.

100% of the proceeds of hot coffee sales at Tim Horton’s across Canada are donated to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. The funds help send youth from our community to a Tim Horton Camp.

Over the past 25 years, $175 million has been raised for the foundation.

CKMORNINGS is live at Tim Horton’s on St. Clair St., North (in front of Cineplex) this mornning from 6-10.

This is Canadian Environment Week and today is Clean Air Day.

All rides on the CK Transit system will be free today. Hop on the bus and save the environment.

A new figure skating show coming this fall and will have Canadian figure skating superstars tour 30 cities all over Canada.

The Thank You Canada Tour will feature a number of Olympic medalists, including Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, Patrick Chan and Kaetlyn Osmond.

The tour kicks off October 5th in B.C., and will wrap in St. John’s, Newfoundland November 24th. There are two shows in our area. Sarnia – Progressive Auto Sales Arena: November 2nd and London – Budweiser Gardens the next night, November 3rd.

The Miss America pageant is getting rid of the swimsuit competition, and from now on they won’t be judging anyone based on looks.

The announcement was made yesterday on Good Morning America. They’re also going to be revamping the evening gown portion and emphasized that the women will be able to wear whatever they choose.

This year’s Miss America is happening on September 9th.

Facebook is launching a new lip sync feature called Lip Sync Live.

Users will be able to lip-sync along with their friends and post their videos when done. Great.
