Doug Ford is the new Premier of Ontario with a majority government.

For the first time in 15 years, Ontario residents have elected the Progressive Conservative Party as the province’s governing party.

The New Democratic Party of Ontario under Andrea Horwath will form the opposition party.

Locally, PC incumbent Rick Nicholls has been reelected in the riding of Chatham-Kent-Leamington and Monte McNaughton has been reelected as MPP for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.​


Lotto Max is offering a record-breaking $112 million in top prizes in tonight’s draw.

This week’s top prize is an estimated $60 million with an additional estimated 52 Maxmillion prizes of $1 million each.

Draw takes place at 10:30 tonight.


The Washington Capitals are the Stanley Cup Champions.

This is the first championship in the Caps’ 44-year history. It’s also the city’s first championship since the Washington Redskins won the Super Bowl in 1992.

Google changed its salad emoji to make it vegan-friendly.

It used to be lettuce and tomatoes with an egg in it. So they just took the egg out to be more inclusive for vegans.
