From there the top two communities will face off for the chance to win the grand prize. The overall winner will see $100,000 in arena upgrades, and the opportunity to host an NHL preseason game, while the runner up still gets the money for upgrades. 4) Flying car coming soon.
“We believe that 2017 we’ll be able to launch this to market,” said company co-founder and CEO Juraj Vaculik at a presentation at the South By Southwest Interactive conference in Austin Sunday. The limited edition vehicle targeted at “wealthy supercar buyers and flight enthusiasts” will have a flying range of almost 700 kilometres on regular gasoline, Vaculik said. It is equipped with partial autopilot and a parachute that will automatically deploy if the pilot falls ill.
5) JOB OPENING! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have placed an ad for a housekeeper in a British magazine as they prepare to move into their country house, a gift from Wills’ mom. According to the ad, duties include: “Cleaning all areas of the house to a high standard; caring for and maintaining the home owners’ clothing; cleaning silverware and glassware; purchasing groceries and general provisions for the house; assisting with childcare, and caring for dogs.” Closing date for applications is April 5th.
