1) Chatham-Kent is one of the two finalists for Kraft Hockeyville! Chatham’s Memorial Arena (along with North Saanich, BC) was announced on Saturday’s Hockey Night in Canada broadcast.

Chatham-Kent and North Saanich will compete in the final showdown for Kraft Hockeyville 2015. Both finalists will receive $100,000 in arena upgrades and the winner will host an NHL pre-season game.



2) IFuture ShopCYMI: Future Shop is closing 66 stores across Canada. Chatham is one of the lucky 65 shops that will re-open as Best Buy. The Chatham store is closed while being rebranded and will open Saturday, April 4th.

3) ncaa-march-madness-2012Managers will be happy to know you’re putting 100% of your efforts into work today — and not your bracket. The NCAA Men’s Basketball season is winding down now that the Final Four games are set. Saturday night Michigan State and Duke will play, then Wisconsin and Kentucky will play. The winners advance to the championship game next Monday night.


4) The people over at Twitter released Periscope, the app, late last week. Periscope is a new service that lets you watch and broadcast live video from around the world. Periscope will allow people to stream major news stories as they happen in real time, among other things.

5) A Copenhagen, Denmark McDonald’s has installed a bike drive-thru called the McBike-Thru.
