3The NHL handed out it’s annual awards last night in Las Vegas. Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price won all three of the major awards that he was nominated for, sweeping the Hart and Vezina Trophies and the Ted Lindsay Award.

Belle River‘s Aaron Ekblad won the Calder Trophy as Rookie of the Year. He’s 19.


4.Three high school students won the U.K.’s TeenTech Awards with an idea to make condoms change color when exposed to STDs.

The concept’s called S.T. EYE, but it’s not real yet. The students won about $1,500 and a trip to meet Prince Andrew at Buckingham Palace.

There would be antibodies on the condom to interact with the antigens of STDs, so the condom would change colors depending on the disease.


5The Oxford English Dictionary just announced some of their newest additions.

They’re adding words like autotune, fo’ shizzle, hot mess, FML, side boob and sext.
