Amazon.com has updated a policy that limits how many people can share the benefits of each user’s Prime subscription.
Originally, Amazon Prime members were allowed to share shipping benefits with up to 4 family members.
The updated policy: “Free trial or paid Amazon Prime members can share certain Amazon Prime benefits with ONE other adult by forming an Amazon Household.”
Prime membership costs $99 a year. Along with free shipping on most items and exclusive deals, a subscription also provides access to streaming video and music services, plus the Kindle lending library.
