It’s a one stop shopping event to get kids more active. This event is a way to make it easy for parents to sign their kids up for different organized sports. More than 50 clubs and organizations are taking part, such as minor hockey, baseball, volleyball, soccer and tae kwon do, just to name a few.
Stop by between 6-8pm at John McGregor Secondary School. Everyone is welcome!
The Tim Horton’s 2015 Smile Cookie Program is underway!
Starting yesterday until this Sunday Tim Horton’s in Chatham (St. Clair St.), Dresden and Wallaceburg will be selling Smile Cookies for $1 each. The entire dollar from every cookie sale will be donated to the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation!
There is no limit to cookie sales during this week, so the more cookies sold, the better! Please help us to spread the word, and ‘raise some dough’ for the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation!
The 2015 United Way campaign is underway!
Co Chairs Kelly Bayda and Aimee June announced the $2,015,000 goal last night at the campaign kick off on the patio at the Civic Centre.
Bayda and June also spoke at municipal council last night where they debuted the 2015 Everyday Hero video:

Last year, the IRS deposited 14 checks that were greater than $99,999,999.
