It’s Family Day Weekend! A provincial holiday celebrated in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
The newest of the holidays, we’ve been “celebrating” in Ontario since 2008.

The municipality also wants to make one thing clear to residents: failure to receive a tax bill does not exempt a property owner from paying the required taxes.

They’ve been running a vote where people can pick a new game piece, and to make room, one of the old ones had to go. The thimble is the second “domestic” item to be removed from the game in the past four years. The iron was removed in 2013 and replaced by a cat.
The new piece will be announced next month.

McDonald’s had engineers invent a curved straw to use with their new Chocolate Shamrock Shake.
The Chocolate Shamrock Shake has a layer of mint flavoured shake on top of a layer of chocolate. And they worked with engineers to create this crazy snorkel-shaped straw that allows you to suck from both layers at the same time.
