1 Tomorrow is Earth Day!

The theme this year is Earth Play for Earth Day.

Canada’s 150th birthday celebrations across the country are highlighting our great outdoors. At a time when most children spend less than an hour per day outside, Earth Day Canada is asking everyone to EarthPLAY for Earth Day 2017: Connect to your nature!

The season begins Thursday, September 7th with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Super Bowl winning Patriots.

Detroit Lions open their season Sunday, September 10th vs the Arizona Cardinals. The Lions have two Monday Night Football games, a Sunday night game and the traditional Thanksgiving Day game (November 23rd) vs Minnesota.

While she’ll celebrate today, there’s also an official birthday on a Saturday in June every year.

Five Things - 5Bags of potato chips are selling for $14 a piece in Japan because of a potato shortage. The jump in price is due to storms that ruined potato crops in recent months.
