Tonight at the Ridgetown Branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library, there will be a screening of the documentary We Are Still Here.
This 40-minute film, released by Sarnia filmmaker Dwayne Cloes, tells the dark history of Canada’s residential schools through the voices of three survivors. No admission charge.
With the long weekend coming up the Chatham Kinsmen will begin selling fireworks tomorrow on St. Clair St between Chatham Marine & Dr. Anjema’s Eye Institute.
The Kinsmen Fireworks sale runs until Sunday with proceeds going to youth programs in C-K.

A competitive eater set a Guinness World Record by chugging a bottle of maple syrup in 10.84 seconds.
It demolished the previous record of 26 seconds.
The Victoria’s Secret Museum has opened on 5th Avenue in New York City.
Exhibits feature lingerie from past years. Some of the lingerie is signed by famous Victoria’s Secret Angels.
