5 Things You Need To Know

The Two Boobs in a Bucket fundraiser begins this morning at 7:30 from the Chatham-Kent Home Hardware parking lot.

CK MORNINGS will be 65 feet in the air and won’t come down until they raise enough money for Breast Cancer Research.

Come by, donate and grab a sausage to support the cause.

Thanks to St. Clair College Power Line and Esthetician programs, Chatham-Kent Home Hardware Building Centre and Mike from Munchies.


Advance polls for the upcoming Municipal Election open today.

You can vote for any ward from the Dresden, Tilbury, Wallaceburg, Blenheim, Ridgetown Municipal Offices or at the Chatham-Kent Civic Centre.

Advance polls are open today noon to 7, Friday 9-4 and Saturday 9-4.

You can still vote online until Monday at 10pm.

Election Day is Monday, October 22nd.


The CP Holiday Train is coming to Chatham once again.

It will stop at the John D. Bradley Centre on November 30th at 2:30.

The Sam Roberts Band and JoJo Mason will be performing between 2:45 and 3:15.

The event is free but CP encourages people to bring food donations to help address hunger in their communities. Local food banks will be accepting donations at each stop to ensure those less fortunate have enough healthy food this holiday season.


Friday night’s Mega Millions lottery jackpot of $548 million is the third largest of all time.

The lottery has rolled over 22 times. The largest Mega Millions lottery jackpot was $656 million in 2012.


Uber is adding a panic button to their app that will allow people to directly dial 911 in case of an emergency.

Uber has been developing the panic button since April.
