It’s Black Friday. Depending on who you ask it was given the name because so many people went out to shop that it caused traffic accidents and sometimes even violence or because retailers finally begin to turn a profit for the year. In accounting terms, when you start turning a profit it’s called “in the black.”

The National Retail Federation says 116 million people are expected to shop today. 67 million will shop tomorrow on Small Business Saturday.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will tee it up today in Las Vegas for The Match. A 1-on-1 winner, head to head, best on best, winner take all. Actually $9 million dollars is at stake.

Woods and Mickelson will be permitted to challenge each other with side bets, which could include up-and-down contests, long-drive competitions and closest-to-the-pin challenges, among others.

In a press conference earlier this week, there’s already been a side bet placed. Phil bet $100,000 that he would birdie the first hole. Tiger immediately doubled the bet.

The broadcast will feature both golfers mic’d up as well as the caddies. The Match begins at 3pm on Rogers, Shaw and Bell in Canada through each In Demand features. It’ll cost $24.99.
