5 Things You Need To Know

Chatham-Kent’s Public Works Department is asking for help from the public to minimize the parking of vehicles on municipal streets.

If possible, they’re asking for fewer vehicles parked on the street to assist in snow removal.

A snow emergency parking ban has not been put in place at this time.

A small team of Israeli scientists think they might have found the first complete cure for cancer.

The team in Israel claim the antidote will work immediately and take just weeks to fully destroy the cancerous cells. Experts behind the drug — named MuTaTo — say it will also have next to no side effects.

There are more than 100 types of cancer and 18.1 million new cancer cases are diagnosed worldwide each year. Every sixth death in the world is due to cancer, making it the second leading cause of death (second only to cardiovascular disease).


The New England Patriots and LA Rams are in Atlanta preparing for the Super Bowl.

Monday was media day. Tom Brady was asked if he will be retiring after the game on Sunday, he says there’s a “0% chance” he retires after the Super Bowl. He’s 41, and his goal is to make it to 45.

The annual EA Sports Super Bowl simulation on Madden is predicting that the Rams will come back from behind to beat the Patriots 30-27. It’s been right 10 of the past 15 years, but it was wrong last year.


Kellogg’s is releasing a cereal that has vegetables.

The raspberry, apple and carrot granola has been added to the Kellogg’s granola line. It took 12 months to develop the sugarless cereal.
