Spring officially arrives tonight!
There will also be a rare lunar phenomenon known as a Full Worm Super Moon, the third and final full super moon of 2019.
The moon will appear larger tonight. The full worm super moon should be visible a few hours after the official start to spring.
This will be the third and final full super moon of 2019. The next full super moon will be in March 2020.
Spring will start at 5:58pm with the vernal equinox, when the sun’s light shines evenly over the Earth’s equator. Day and night are divided into roughly equal 12-hour cycles, which ends with the sun moving to shine more on the Northern Hemisphere. Daylight hours in the Northern Hemisphere grow longer every day afterwards, until the solstice on June 21st.
Spring officially arrives on Wednesday, but winter isn’t quite ready to give up on parts of Ontario. #ONstorm

Canadians no longer need a visa to visit Brazil.
The Brazilian government has waived visa requirements for visitors from the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan. This was done, temporarily, before the Rio Olympics in 2016 to boost tourism.
The Canadian government recommends travelers heading to Brazil exercise a “high degree of caution” due to high crime and gang-related violence.
Brazilians still need a visa to enter Canada.
Just weeks after Bryce Harper scored the richest contract in North American sports history, Mike Trout has trumped him.
He’s getting $430 million over 12 seasons from the Los Angeles Angels, which is $100 million more than the $330 million that Harper got over 13.
Trout will make an average of $36 million per season, which is about $10 million more than Harper will make annually.
Trout’s new contract will allow him to buy…
- The Weather Channel, which was sold last year for $300 million
- 430 million tacos
- 10,750 of the most expensive Tiffany & Co diamond earrings.
A breakdown of Mike Trout’s new $430M deal:
