If you missed it on Friday, three pilot project locations were announced in the province where the speed limit will be raised from 100 kilometres per hour to 110 kilometres per hour.

The planned speed limit bump will begin in mid-September on Highway 402 between London and Sarnia, the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) from St. Catharines to Hamilton, and Highway 417 from Ottawa/Gloucester to the Ontario/Quebec border. A fourth pilot location in Northern Ontario will be announced in the near future.


The Toronto Raptors eliminated the Philadelphia 76ers from the playoffs last night, thanks to a wild buzzer-beater by Kawhi Leonard.

It was the first Game 7 buzzer-beater in NBA history, and the Raptors are now headed to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.


The San Diego Padres temporarily changed their Twitter name to “Madres” for Mother’s Day and a fan swooped in and grabbed @Padres.

Twitter reversed the action and returned the @Padres to the baseball team.


Burger King wants to deliver to people stuck in their cars in traffic jams.

Burger King just finished up a test of a new delivery service, where someone on a motorcycle brings food right to your car when you’re stuck in bad traffic. They tested it in Mexico City and found it led to a 63% jump in delivery orders in just one week.

Now they’re planning to expand to other cities with horrible traffic, including Los Angeles and Shanghai. And if it works just as well in those places, it could hit other cities too.
