Tim Horton’s has introduced a new spill-resistant lid.
The redesigned lid is made from 100 per cent recyclable polypropylene and features a raised dome, tabbed closure, an improved flow of coffee from the cup, along with a maple leaf embossed on the lid.
Tim Hortons said the new lid took more than two years to develop.
Tim’s also announced they will be introducing new reusable drinkware that that will be available at participating restaurants this summer, starting at $1.99.
They just completed the deepest-ever dive to the bottom of the ocean, about 11 kilometres down (35,853 feet) in the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean.
A team did it in the Sixties, and James Cameron did it in 2012, but this one was the deepest yet.
An American explorer made the dive and in addition to four new species, he found a plastic bag and candy wrappers at the deepest point on the planet.
A plastic bag has been discovered on the floor of the Mariana Trench, 6.8 miles under the sea.

Party City has announced it is closing 45 stores nationwide amid a global helium shortage.
The party supplies company did not immediately release a list of which locations will be affected but said the closures will happen throughout the year.
There are 870 Party City stores in the U.S. and Canada and the closures represent about 5 percent of locations.
