The Toronto Raptors are the 2019 NBA Champions.
They defeated the Golden State Warriors by a score of 114-110 in Game Six to win their first-ever NBA title. The first title for a team not in the United States.
Kawhi Leonard was named the Finals MVP.
The parade is set for Monday in downtown Toronto. It’ll start at 10am at the Raptors’s practice facility (on the grounds of Exhibition Place) and end at Nathan Phillips Square.

Researchers have found a way to take anyone’s blood, and convert it into type-O blood. Which is the universal donor kind.
This is a pretty big breakthrough. Each person is born with one blood type — A, B, AB, and O — and it determines the type of blood they can receive in a transfusion. Inject them with the “wrong” type, and the reaction can be fatal. The discovery was made by researchers at the University of British Columbia.
The team plans to conduct further studies to ensure the process removes all the blood antigens. If it does, all that converted type A blood would nearly double the amount of universal donor blood available.
The Chatham-Kent Beach Bus is on the road again today today.
The Seasonal Interurban Transit Route or S1, as it’s officially known, will serves Chatham, Erieau and Mitchell’s Bay, with stops in Grande Point, Pain Court, Charing Cross and Blenheim.
The Beach Bus runs every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday between 9am-8pm.
