5 Things You Need To Know

Today is a PA Day.

Drop by the Blenheim or Wallaceburg Pools for free Open Swims.

In Blenheim at the Gable Rees Rotary Pool from 1:30-3:00pm, and Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool from 1:30-4:00pm.

You can also take the kids to the Kingston Park Splashpad, which is now open for the season.


Relay for Life is tonight at the Chatham-Kent Community Athletic Complex.

There is still time to register a last minute team.

You can also show your support by purchasing a luminary, a small candle that will honour a loved one.

The 2019 Chatham-Kent Senior Expo & Achievement Awards are today at the Blenheim Arena.

Event begins at 9 with exhibitors and entertainment. The achievement awards are handed out at 11, lunch at noon.

Free admission for all!


EarlyOn will host the first Pop Up Play in the Park Saturday in Pain Court at Centennial Park from 9:30-noon. All Families are welcome to attend. Admission is free.

 


Amazon has said it will use drones to deliver packages to customers “within months”. It unveiled its latest delivery drone at a conference in Las Vegas, bragging about the machine’s ability to spot obstacles such as people, dogs, and clotheslines.

Amazon said the drone would be able to travel 15 miles to carry packages weighing five pounds or less.
