5 Things You Need To Know

July 10th is the 190th day of the year. There are 174 days remaining until the end of the year.

The LCBO is warning its customers about a shortage affecting stores throughout the province.

The LCBO says deliveries are behind schedule because they have “recently implemented a new Warehouse Management System (WMS).” The move to the new system took place in mid-June.

They have not released a list of affected products, the extent of the shortage nor a timeline for when stores will be fully re-stocked, only saying it will be “as soon as possible.”

In a statement, the LCBO reiterated that there is no inventory shortage, but rather a delivery delay.

Volkswagen has ended production of the Beetle and the last ones just rolled off the assembly line in Mexico.

The last of 5,961 Final Edition versions is headed for a museum after ceremonies today in Puebla to mark the end of production.

Volkswagen designed the Beetle in the 1930’s when Hitler told them he wanted Germany to have an iconic “people’s car” that would make driving as popular as the Ford Model T did in the U.S.

Speaking of cars, there’s a guy in Colorado, who’s working on 3-D printing their own, working Lamborghini Aventador. It’s a hell of a project, but they do have the body and quite a bit of the rest of it done. So far, they’ve spent $20,000, which is a lot, but since a real one starts at $335,000, that’s quite a discount.

There’s a Facebook event circulating right now called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us.

It’s a plan for tons of people to descend on Area 51 in Nevada to find out the truth about UFOs. Or, as the invitation says, “Let’s see them aliens.”

If you’re interested, it’s on Friday, September 20th at 3:00am And more than 200,000 PEOPLE have said they’re planning to go. I predict a lot of them will flake.
