The Chatham-Kent Beach Bus is on the road today.

The Seasonal Interurban Transit Route or S1, as it’s officially known, will serves Chatham, Erieau and Mitchell’s Bay, with stops in Grande Point, Pain Court, Charing Cross and Blenheim.

The Beach Bus runs every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday between 9am-8pm.

Parts of Australia dealt with a wintery weekend, some areas of the southeast seeing snow for the first time in decades.

The unusual weather was due to an “Antarctic vortex” which formed off the coast of Australia’s southern island State of Tasmania. 80cm of snow was reported in some areas.

It does snow in Australia – that’s not unusual, seeing it in some of the states is the anomaly.


Chase Bank announced on Friday that it would be forgiving all outstanding debt owed by customers in Canada.

The decision was made after the bank decided to leave the Canadian credit card market, closing all credit card accounts in March 2018.

Customers were originally required to continue payments on their outstanding debt. But this week, Canadian customers received a letter forgiving the remaining debt so the company could complete its exit from the market.

Chase decided it was “best for all parties” to forgive all Canadian credit card debt.
