Keil Drive South will be closed to through traffic between Richmond Street and Riverview Drive tomorrow through Friday for work on the railway tracks.

All of the lanes will be closed to traffic at the CP Railway crossing

The recommended detour for local traffic is Riverview Drive – Bloomfield Road – Richmond Street.


The Chatham-Kent Beach Bus is on the road again today today.

The Seasonal Interurban Transit Route or S1, as it’s officially known, will serves Chatham, Erieau and Mitchell’s Bay, with stops in Grande Point, Pain Court, Charing Cross and Blenheim.

The Beach Bus runs every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday between 9am-8pm.

Jim Watson, the Mayor of Ottawa came out over the weekend.

In a piece he wrote in the Ottawa Citizen he said, “not coming out sooner was a big mistake on my part.”


The Prime Minister of Denmark says Greenland is not for sale.

U.S. President Donald Trump said last week that he had discussed the possibility of the US purchasing the country.

“Greenland is not for sale. Greenland is not Danish. Greenland belongs to Greenland,” Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen

The U.S. has previously tried to buy the country during the second World War.


A temple in India did their annual Bagwal stone-pelting festival where two teams of men throw rocks at each other. Some have shields, but most don’t.

They do it to appease a goddess who wants them to “shed as much blood as possible” and they accomplished it. About 120 of the rock-throwers were injured at this year’s event.
