The 96th Annual Buxton Homecoming kicks off today and runs through Monday. Several events are scheduled all weekend, including the parade on Monday at 12:30pm, and the Guinness World Record Attempt for the Longest Soul Train Line. See the full schedule here.

 


The 3rd annual Art in the Park is in Dresden tomorrow at the Tony Stranak Conservation Area. Stop by from 9-3 and visit 100 vendors, enjoy a bbq and more. All proceeds to to the Dresden Sidestreets Youth Centre.

 


It’s the final weekend for Movies in the Park, but it’s a bit different this week. We’ll be in Mitchell’s Bay Memorial Park tomorrow night showing the movie Ralph Breaks The Internet. Bring the family out for free activities starting at 7, and the movie will begin at dusk.

 


The CK Recreation PlayPods will be at Kingston Park this weekend. The kids can enjoy playing with fun games and equipment tonight from 6-8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 11-3.

 

 


Apple is going to launch their iPhone 11 on September 10th. Apple isn’t changing the basic design of the phone, but is introducing models with better cameras, faster processors and better operating systems. Apple is also pushing their headphones, their new credit card and their new TV shows on their streaming service.
