There will be another Convoy of Courage this weekend supporting our healthcare workers.

On Saturday in Wallaceburg, everyone is invited to practice social distancing and pull out of the old Sobey’s parking lot at 3pm.

If you wish to participate, you need you to sign a disclaimer. Go online, enter your email and complete the form with your signature.

There’s another convoy planned for Chatham next weekend (May 2nd) at 3 from the Cascades Casino parking lot. For more info follow the group on Facebook.


A national salute to our front line workers called Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble will air this weekend on CKSY in support of the Covid 19 relief.

Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble includes names like Celine Dion, Michael Buble, Bryan Adams, Shania Twain, Sarah McLaughlin, Alessia Cara, Arkells, Barenaked Ladies, Jann Arden, Howie Mandel, Rick Mercer, Russell Peters, Connor McDavid, Col Chris Hadfield, Hayley Wickenheiser, Jason Priestley, David Suzuki, Eric McMormac, Bianca Andreescu, Tessa Virtue, Wil Arnett, William Prince, Margaret Atwood, Penny Oleksiak, Rick Hanson, and more.

Funds raised will be used to source essential food and support items across the Canadian food bank network.

The show begins at 6:30 Sunday night.


Canada Post says to expect delivery delays.

More people are shopping online, which has resulted in Canada Post processing and delivering packages at levels that are normally only seen in December. Canada Post said the delivery delays can also be attributed to safety measures it has implemented.

The Hubble Telescope is celebrating a big 30th birthday today.

The Space Shuttle Discovery lifted it into orbit on April 24th, 1990.  It’s been orbiting the Earth and taking pictures ever since.

NASA recently posted a new tool that lets you see the best photo it’s taken on your birthday. It launched at 8:33 AM Eastern, in Cape Canaveral, Florida.


It’s Wear Red Friday.

The National Police Federation is asking people to wear red and to pause at 1pm to show support for the RCMP officer and other victims who lost their lives in the Nova Scotia mass killing.
