April 9th is the 100th day of the year. There are 266 days remaining until the end of the year.


It will be a long weekend for essential workers across the province.

Premier Doug Ford announced yesterday that all stores will be closed on Friday and Sunday. Ford said that these essential workers “deserve a break and some quality time with their families” on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.


Garbage and recycling pick up will not take place on Friday.

Pickup will be on Saturday.


A 17-year-old kid near Seattle named Avi Schiffmann started a website in late December that tracks coronavirus cases around the world in real time.

You can check it out at nCoV2019.live. He intentionally included how many patients have recovered in each country, so people won’t just focus on the negative.

The site gets about 30 million visits per day. Avi says he’s been offered $8 million to advertise on his site, but has turned it down.


Missing the ole ball game?

The organist from Fenway Park is playing live online for 30 minutes a day. Josh Kantor gets behind his organ and plays each day at 3pm from a room in his home in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Kantor streams the show on Facebook Live, and he calls it 7th-Inning Stretch.  He’ll even take requests through Facebook or Twitter.
