Yard sales are a go this Summer across Chatham-Kent.
Dr. David Colby, the medical officer of health, passed that info along yesterday. He said they will monitor the situation very closely.
If you are holding or attending a yard sale you should physical distance and have some hand sanitizer on hand.
It’s a bittersweet day, this would have been the kick off to Retrofest Weekend.
There is an unofficial cruise happening tonight. There is no official meet up spot, just a fun “drive your classic if you have it.”
The cruise will start at the far end of St Clair/HWY 40 at 7. The route will be posted on the Facebook Event page later today.
For the first time since the Titanic sank 108 years ago, explorers are being allowed to cut into the wreck and remove something from it.
The hope is to retrieve its Marconi device, the specialized telegraph that conveyed the last messages from the doomed ship’s crew before it sank in 1912. A U.S. District Court judge ruled on Monday that R.M.S. Titanic, the company that has held salvage rights to the wreck since the 1980’s, will be allowed to cut into the ship’s hull in order to rescue the telegraph before it disintegrates.
A robotic sub will try to enter the telegraph room through an open skylight, and will only cut into the hull if absolutely necessary.
Crayola has launched a new set of crayons called Colours of the World that features all different skin tones.
They were introduced yesterday on UN World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.
It took over 8 months to get the proper shades on the 24 crayons.
Crayola Colours of the World crayons come in a 24 and 32-count pack and will begin to hit shelves in July, just in time for the back to school season.
We are excited to introduce our new line of crayons, Colors of the World, available now for pre-order, https://t.co/CwVRto7sOl! ????????????????????????????????????????
With the Colors of the World, we hope to cultivate a more inclusive world for children of all ages, races, cultures & ethnicities. pic.twitter.com/0ooKitRwz7— Crayola (@Crayola) May 21, 2020
Kellogg’s just created a new cereal called Mashups and it’s a mix of Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops. They’re mixed together in one bag and you eat them together.
Could you just buy a box of Frosted Flakes and a box of Froot Loops and make this on your own? Definitely. But maybe they put some deep thought into the ratio and there’s no way you’d get that right.
Anyway, the cereal is set to hit stores next month.
