Tilbury Drive Thru COVID Testing begins today.
Everyone is welcome to visit the Tilbury Arena from 10-6 today and tomorrow.
The COVID-19 swab test will be done while you are in your car.
Future drive thru testing will be done in Blenheim, Thamesville, Wheatley and Dresden.

The Chatham Civic Centre will reopen tomorrow.
Tomorrow is tax deadline day. The opening tomorrow will only be for those looking to make payments. If you don’t want to leave a payment in the secure drop box or who need to make a debit payment will be allowed to enter the building following screening.
The office will be open 8:30-4:30.
The balance of the municipal offices will reopen by end of August.
Another day of temps in the 40’s and we’ve got some winter cancellations.
The St. Clair Catholic District School Board has cancelled Christmas in Muskoka for this year. It was to be held in November. Organizers are hoping to return in 2021.
The Chatham Goodfellows No Child Without a Christmas campaign will look a little different this year. Last year, Chatham Goodfellows packed and delivered food and toys for over 1,500 families. They anticipate the need will be greater this year and intend to meet that challenge, but they’ll have to do it without two major fundraisers. The Porchlight and street sales campaigns have been pulled because of COVID-19 health and safety measures. They are trying to decide how donations will be sorted but added children won’t be left out in the cold this Christmas.

Hasbro is changing the rules of Scrabble so slurs will no longer be permissible in the game.
The company is planning to ban 200 offensive terms regarding ethnicity, creed, religion, gender, sexuality and disability.
The North American Scrabble Players Association will vote this week to ban the words, if the rule change is approved as expected, the ban will go in effect by September.

Tinder is adding a video chat option so members can virtually date.
They’re attempting to make dating possible and easier for users in the times of coronavirus.
A call can only be made if two people have liked each other and the video can be disabled at any point in time if either of the party feels unsafe.
Face to Face is currently under development and there hasn’t been an official rollout yet. Tinder will add more updates and features to it before making it available for users across the globe.
