Mayor Darrin Canniff said the issue is very divisive and there has been plenty of discussion about it.

Environment Canada has issued a Heat Warning for Chatham-Kent and could carry into tomorrow. Humidex will make it feel like it’s in the high 30’s/low 40’s for today and tomorrow.
As of Friday afternoon Chatham-Kent has 93 active COVID-19 cases. Numbers are not updated on the weekend. The latest update will come early this afternoon from Chatham-Kent Public Health.
The province reported 79 new cases Sunday. Fewer than 100 cases were reported every day last week across Ontario.
Scientists in Australia have created an app that’s being called Shazam for spiders. When you upload a photo of a spider, it tells you what kind it is and if it’s dangerous.
It’s called Critterpedia. The tool allows users to take photos of a snake or spider from their smart device. A system trained with an algorithm then classifies it, providing information on the family, genus or species. The artificially intelligent (AI) platform considers not only these images, but also additional information, like GPS location.

A new app called Tabby launched on Saturday for International Cat Day, and it specifically caters to single people with cats.
You create a profile and describe yourself, just like normal dating apps. But you’re also encouraged to upload photos and videos of your cats, describe their personality and set up cat-friendly dates with people.
You can check it out on the App Store and Google Play, or on their website, TabbyDates.com. The same company launched a dog-centric dating app earlier this year called Dig.
