The C-K Public Health Unit reported 2 new positive COVID19 cases on Tuesday.

There were 3 recoveries and 27 active cases. No one is hospitalized.

Ontario reported 1,009 new cases on Tuesday, sort of. They over-reported Monday and under-reported Tuesday.

The average over the last two days would be 1,299, under the weekly average which is around 1,400.


Heads up, there will be a Canada-wide test of the Alert Ready system today at 12:55pm.

The test will send a tone to your television, radio or wireless device.

Elon Musk has surpassed Bill Gates as the second-richest person on Earth.

The 49-year-old Tesla CEO and co-founder saw his net worth go up more than $7 billion on Monday as the share price of Tesla hit a record high.

Musk’s net worth now sits at $128 billion. That leapfrogs Bill Gates, but still puts him comfortably behind Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who’s worth about $181.3 billion.

Musk has seen his net worth rise over $100 billion this year alone. Tesla is now the world’s most valuable automaker.

Musk is also the CEO and founder of aerospace manufacturer SpaceX.


An iconic London bar is closing, and may never reopen.

Live music venue Call The Office says it’s closing doors indefinitely- not just because of the pandemic, but because they can’t find insurance coverage.

The final shows at Call the Office are scheduled for this weekend.


Lizards the size of dogs are now spreading across the southern U.S, because why not?

The Argentine black-and-white tegu are native to South America, but in the last decade, the dog-sized lizards have been breeding and spreading across the U.S. in states like Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, Louisiana and Alabama.

The lizards, which can grow up to four feet, will eat anything, including eggs, birds, strawberries, vegetables and even sea turtles. The lizards have been bred in Florida and were first sold as pets but some have escaped and bred on their own, causing them to multiply in unrestricted areas and numbers.
