Another one new COVID19 case reported by Chatham-Kent Public Health on Wednesday.

There were 2 recoveries, bringing the active total downt to 17.

Ontario is reported 1,054 cases Wednesday.


The province announced yesterday that it plans to start administering COVID-19 vaccines to residents aged 80 and older in the third week of March.

A firmer timeline for distributing the shots has been presented, although that schedule is dependent on vaccine supply.

An online booking system and service desk will be available on March 15th and people in that 80-and-older age range, or those booking, for them can access it.

The task force aims to then vaccinate adults aged 75-and-older starting April 15th, and shots will go to those 70-and-older beginning on May 1st.

Here’s a look at the timeline issued by retired Gen. Hiller (head of the province’s vaccine task force):

  • Third week of March: Vaccinations start for those 80 and older.
  • April 15: Vaccinations start for those 75 and older.
  • May 1: Vaccinations start for those 70 and older.
  • June 1: Vaccinations start for those 65 and older.
  • First week of July: Vaccinations start for those 60 and older.

Ontario Parks says that they had received 58,475 reservations during the first few weeks of 2021. Because of this, campers are going to have to get competitive to grab a good spot this season.

Ontarians are being advised to book early, try new parks, and travel further north in order to accommodate the spike.

Anyone looking to book a reservation can do so on their website. Overnight camping won’t resume in Ontario Parks until March 8.

If you’re not having any luck finding your favourite alfredo sauces in the grocery store, you’re not alone.

A food supply expert, said companies are limiting production due to the pandemic, “They’re prioritizing flavours that we like to eat and that typically, in the case of pasta sauce, is marinara.”

Kraft Heinz makes 63 different Classico pasta sauces. Eight of those are Alfredo. They’ve reduced sauce types in order to increase overall volume. It comes down to the time it takes to switch between sauces using the same manufacturing line.

Kraft Heinz expects to have its stock replenished by May.
