The Chatham-Kent Vaccination Clinic is now booking individuals 70+ (born 1951 or earlier) for their vaccinations.

To book an appointment, call 519-351-1010 and leave a message. Messages can be left 24 hours a day Monday to Friday. Because of call volumes, it may take a few days before your call is returned. You do not need to call back.

  • If your last name starts with A-M call Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
  • If your last name starts with N-Z call Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

The new age bracket includes a larger segment of our population. Be patient as the Chatham-Kent Public Health staff will need a number of days to return your call.


Chatham-Kent is once again over 100 active positive COVID19 cases.

The Chatham-Kent Public Health reported 38 new cases over the weekend.

There were 25 recoveries, bring the total active cases to 103.

There were 1,699 positive cases reported in Ontario. It’s the sixth straight day with over 1,500 cases.


A new Weather Network forecast reveals that the next few months are expected to bring warmer weather than many of the previous spring seasons Ontario has seen over the past several years.

Back-and-forth temperature swings through Ontario during April and May are expected to come close to offsetting each other and it’s more likely we’ll end up with a warmer spring than usual throughout the province.

The high in C-K today is 19 with sunshine.


World Naked Bike Ride is returning to the streets of Toronto this spring.

The ride and global protest takes place in cities all around the world is against pollution caused by cars, safer cycling streets and body freedom for all.

This year, it’ll be taking place in Toronto on June 12th with riders meeting at Coronation Park.


Krispy Kreme just announced they’ll give you a free donut every single day for the rest of the year if you get vaccinated.

You just have to show up at a Krispy Kreme and flash your vaccination card that shows you’ve gotten at least your first dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or your only shot of the Johnson & Johnson one. And they’ll give you a donut in return.
