Just one new positive COVID-19 cases reported for the weekend Monday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.
The local active case count is at 7, with just one hospitalization.
There were 270 positive cases across Ontario Monday. That is the smallest daily increase of new infections the province has seen since September.
A delay in the shipment of Pfizer vaccines is affecting appointments at the Chatham-Kent Vaccination Clinic tomorrow.
Appointments for ages 12 to 17 will still receive the Pfizer vaccine while adults aged 18 and older will receive the Moderna vaccine.
Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech are both mRNA vaccines and are so similar that they are interchangeable. To ensure maximum protection against COVID-19 and the Delta variant, CK Public Health recommends that C-K residents get fully vaccinated, with the first vaccine available to them, as soon as they can.
Those wishing to receive Pfizer-BioNTech will need to reschedule their appointment.

The City of Toronto has announced it will be holding a massive one-day vaccination clinic on Sunday as part of Toronto Vaccine Day.
“Our Winning Shot,” will be held at Scotiabank Arena and will be offering more than 10,000 vaccine doses on June 27.
The city says it is hoping to get as many residents vaccinated while setting a Canadian clinic single-day vaccination dose record in the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors.
Just over 30% of Toronto residents are fully vaccinated.
Olympic organizers have announced they will allow spectators at the Games this year.
There will be a 50% cap at venues, up to a maximum of 10,000 people. Organizers said they could restrict fan attendance further if there were an emergency or a rise in Covid-19 infections.
Anyone attending will have to follow strict protocols.
“Masks should be worn in venues at all times; speaking in a loud voice or shouting will be prohibited; congestion should be avoided by means of appropriate announcements, and visitors should leave venues in a staggered manner.”
The Summer Games will begin July 23 till August 8.
