There’s more work to be done on Wallaceburg’s Lord Selkirk Bridge.
The bridge is closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic today and tomorrow from 8-3, and again next Tuesday and Wednesday. Repairs are being done on the locking mechanism.
For the next week the bridge will not be able to open for larger boats travelling down the Sydenham. Smaller boats will still be able to pass underneath.

The United Way of Chatham-Kent and Women United are hosting a drive thru drop off to collect menstrual products from 9-3 at the Chatham-Kent Nonprofit Centre at 425 McNaughton Avenue West in Chatham.
Feminine hygiene products are some of the most requested, but under-donated, items at food banks and outreach programs throughout the community.
The donations will be divided up and given to organizations and programs throughout Chatham-Kent.

Singer Tony Bennett just set a Guinness World Record for being the oldest person to release an album of new material.
Love for Sale is a collaboration with Lady Gaga that was released on October 1st, and at the time, Bennett was 95 years and 60 days old, according to Guinness.
This is actually Bennett’s fourth world record in his 70 years in the recording industry.
