There were 11 new positive COVID-19 cases reported Tuesday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.
There were 23 resolved cases, the total active case count locally is at 110.
There are 429 new cases of COVID-19 across the province, 301 (70%) cases are in individuals not fully vaccinated. It is the smallest daily increase of new cases since August 17th and the first time the province is reporting fewer than 500 cases since last Wednesday.
The Bradley Centre Vaccination Clinic will be open today 3-7:30. It’ll also be open Saturday 9-3.
There’s a mobile clinic in Merlin today from 3-8 at the library.
Clinics are for anyone 12+ looking for first or second shots.

Big jump in gas prices today across Ontario.
According to gas analyst Dan McTeague, prices will rise another 2 cents, bringing the total average in the province to a whopping 142.9 cents per litre by later today.
The spike will bring about the highest gas prices the province has seen since June of 2014.

Israeli archaeologists have found a rare ancient toilet in Jerusalem dating back more than 2,700 years.
At the time private bathrooms were a luxury.
The smooth, carved limestone toilet was found in a rectangular cabin that was part of a sprawling mansion overlooking what is now the Old City. It was designed for comfortable sitting, with a deep septic tank dug underneath.
Animal bones and pottery found in the septic tank could shed light on the lifestyle and diet of people living at that time, as well as ancient diseases.
