November 12th is the 316th day of 2021. There are 49 days remaining until the end of the year.


On Thursday Ontario reported the highest daily COVID-19 case count in over a month, with 642 new cases.

Due to Remembrance Day, Chatham-Kent Public Health didn’t update yesterday. The next update will be posted between 10-11 this morning.


The Bradley Centre Vaccination Clinic will be open Saturday 9-4 for Pfizer & Moderna vaccinations.

Walk in appointments are no longer available, appointments must be booked, go toGetYourShotCK.ca or by call 519-351-1010.

The clinic is for anyone 12+ looking for first or second shots.


After some balmy November temperatures, that should change this weekend.

The Weather Network says, “Much colder weather this weekend could also result in bands of lake-effect snow, with locally heavy snow totals possible for the traditional snow belts.”

They do warn that there’s a chance that temperatures will “rebound to above seasonal for a couple days” during the middle of next week before winter weather really settles in.

Sun, cloud and showers expected today with a high of 10.


Gas prices are expected to drop 4 cents across the province today.

The average in Ontario should drop to 144.9 cents per litre.

Peterborough should be the cheapest in the province at 141.9 and Thunder Bay the highest at 151.9.

In Chatham on Thursday, prices were as low as 138.9 at some pumps.


Venomous sharks have been found in the Thames River…in London…England.

Back in 1957, the Thames was declared “biologically dead.” But now a survey by the Zoological Society of London revealed seahorses, eels, seals and venomous sharks have all been discovered.

Once again, this was in England.
