Seventeen new positive COVID-19 cases reported Thursday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.
There were 7 resolved cases, the total active case count locally rises to 52.
Ontario reported 711 new cases. It’s the most reported in the province since September 24th.

The Ontario government is going to do away with paper renewal notices for license plate stickers and health cards.
The new format will also expand to the online renewal of digital parking permits and Ontario photo cards.
The government will save up to $29 million in postage and mailing costs over five years. Funds will be re-invested into critical programs, such as education.
The shift will also benefit the environment by saving approximately 80-million pieces of paper over five years.
