November 2nd is the 306th day of 2021. There are 59 days remaining until the end of the year.


There were 18 new positive COVID-19 cases reported Monday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.

There were 17 resolved cases, the total active case count locally is at 60.

There are 422 new cases in the province.

More than 5 million people around the world have died of Covid-19. This staggering threshold was surpassed early Monday morning. Last week, the World Health Organization warned that global Covid-19 cases and deaths are increasing for the first time in two months, spurred by big increases in Europe.


Chatham-Kent Public Health has announced November dates for the vaccination clinics at the Bradley Centre.

November is here and parts of the province will need to find their snow shovels.

The Weather Network predicts winds in the 40 to 60 km/h range for northern Ontario with snow on its way this week. The cold air will moved into Central Ontario and snow belts east and southeast from the Great Lakes will have its “first measurable snowfall of the season this week.”

Today and tomorrow 20 centimetres of snow is expected near Thunder Bay, while Parry Sound, North Bay and Timmins can expect up to 5cm of snow.


Bell hasn’t said too much about why the time on many devices across the network was set back an hour on Monday morning, causing headaches for many users.

Bell said that anyone who has a phone still displaying the wrong time should reboot it or briefly put their phone in airplane mode. A spokesperson said that this should not impact clocks rolling back next week as Daylight Savings Time ends.

Standard Time begins November 7th at 2am.
