Food packing began last night at the former Sears store in downtown Chatham and will continue for the rest of the week.
Those interested in volunteering can sign up at ChathamGoodfellows.ca or show up at the former Sears store. Proof of vaccination is required to volunteer.
A week and a half left in the annual Salvation Army Kettle campaign.

The Chatham Concert Band Christmas show is tonight at the Chatham Capitol Theatre.

Sixty-one(!) new COVID-19 cases reported Monday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.
There were 54 resolved cases, so the net increase in active cases is only 7, settling at 159 active.
Ontario reported 1,536 new cases – the sixth straight day the province has reported more than 1,000 daily infections.
Niagara Falls is getting a massive fireworks show to celebrate the new year.
The fireworks show will start at 10:00pm every night from December 26th through the end of the year. On New Year’s Eve, there will be two shows, one at 9, then at midnight to ring in 2022.
