Chatham-Kent Public Health reported another death from COVID19 on Monday, the 35th in C-K.
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance reported on Monday that there are 31 COVID-19 positive patients in the hospital and 15 of them are not vaccinated against the virus.
Ontario reports 3,887 people are now hospitalized, the most ever during the pandemic. The province had 35 COVID deaths over the 24 hour reporting period.
The Bradley Centre Vaccination Clinic is open today 9-4.
Ages 5-11 can now walk in for vaccinations. For 12+, vaccinations are by appointment only, go to GetYourShotCK.ca or by call 519-351-1010. RideCK is offering free rides to and from the clinic.
There is a 5-11 walk in clinic in Wallaceburg tomorrow 3-7:30 at AA Wright Public School.

Cloudy with some flurries around Chatham-Kent today. High of -3, wind chill will make it feel about -10.
The rest of the province continues to dig out after yesterdays storm. Some drivers were stuck on the 401 in Toronto for over 8 hours. Ottawa set a record with 38cm of snow, early yesterday afternoon while it was still falling. They ended up with 48cm!
Schools in some regions will stay online today – not the case for Chatham-Kent; schools are open and buses are running.

The Tennessee Titans are at home to play the Cincinnati Bengals (Saturday 4:30)and the Green Bay Packers will host the San Francisco 49ers (Saturday 8:15)
The L.A. Rams will now play defending champs Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Sunday 3:05) and the Buffalo Bills head to Missouri to play the Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday 6:30)

A giant asteroid is going to pass by Earth today.
The asteroid is 3,451 feet (1.05km) wide and will be traveling at 47,344mp/h (76193km/h) when it passes Earth. The asteroid will be 1.2 million miles away from land.
Scientists are confident the asteroid will not hit Earth, but it’s the closest it will come for the next two centuries.
