C-K Public Utilities has put some lawn watering restrictions in place for all customers on municipal water.
Customers with odd-numbered addresses will be allowed to water their lawns on odd-numbered days. Meanwhile, customers with even-numbered addresses will be allowed to water their lawns on even-numbered days.
The water restrictions came into effect on Friday and include both residential and commercial properties.
There will be a two-month month grace period for newly sodded lawns.

The Colorado Avalanche are Stanley Cup champions.
Colorado beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals last night.
It’s their first cup since 2001 and third overall (1996, 2001, 2022)
Tampa has won the previous two Stanley Cups.
The Avalanche are already favoured to win the 2023 Cup.
The Windsor/Detroit Ford Fireworks are back on the riverfront tonight.
The pandemic didn’t allow for the in-person event the past two years. In 2020, the fireworks were fired off from a secret location and in 2021 they were set off from Lake St. Clair Metropark about 30 kilometres outside of downtown Detroit.
Transit Windsor will provide free direct service from Devonshire Mall to a drop-off spot near Windsor City Hall. Shuttles leaves Devonshire Mall, starting at 6pm and the last shuttle will return to the mall immediately following the Fireworks and until midnight.
This year’s fireworks will begin at 10pm with tomorrow as the rain date, if needed.
