Today is Tim Horton’s Camp Day.
Visit Tim Horton’s to buy a coffee or iced coffee and help change a life by sending youth from disadvantaged circumstances to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
100% of proceeds from all Tim Hortons coffee purchases on Camp Day will help send youth – at no cost to them – to a Tims Camp for a multi-year, camp-based development program where they will be empowered to believe in their own potential and change their stories for the better.
There are a couple different ways to send a kid to camp, the easiest is to buy a hot or iced coffee at a Tim Hortons, but you can also help by:
- Purchase a Camp Day bracelet for $2 or Camp Day socks for $5.
- Round Up your order or drop change into the coin box.
- Purchase a Rent-a-Tent window decal.
- Make a one-time or monthly donation in a restaurant or online.

Twitter is launching a new feature called Unmention.
It will allow all users to remove themselves from a conversation that includes their Twitter handle. The platform first introduced the feature to a small group of users in April, but now it’s available to everyone.
You might want to use this feature yourself if you’re stuck in a toxic conversation or simply don’t want to receive notifications for a thread you’re a part of. Unmentioning untags your username, stops notifications for the thread, and also prevents anyone in the thread from tagging you again.
Twitter is also working on a couple of other new features: the platform is currently testing a way to co-author a tweet and is also looking into a new long-form Notes feature for users tired of the 280-character limit.
Sometimes you want to see yourself out.
Take control of your mentions and leave a conversation with Unmentioning, now rolling out to everyone on all devices. pic.twitter.com/Be8BlotElX
