The program is open to junior kindergarten to Grade 1 students in the Lambton Kent District and St. Clair Catholic District school boards to provide the youngsters with an understanding of the importance of school bus safety.

Safety trainers will be there to talk to the children and parents about basic school bus safety rules, how to cross the street safely and how to evacuate a bus in case of an emergency.

The sessions run for about half-an-hour each.
